A giant like Ford will always have special programs on their used cars for sale. They call it the Ford Blue Advantage. Gold Certified Used Cars
When you want a model that's as close to new as you can get, the Gold certified inventory is where you want to shop first. Gold certified vehicles have a full 172-point inspection and Comprehensive Limited Warranties to back up their condition and quality. If you choose this type of certified vehicle, you'll get used cars for sale that have less than 80,000 miles and are 6 years old or younger. This is the highest level of confidence you can have buying a used car. You'll get a model that's very close to new but deeply discounted.
Blue Certified Cars
A Blue certified pre-owned Ford for sale is similar to the Gold certification, but a few more miles will be on the models. They must be 10 years old or younger, have 120,000 miles or less, and receive a 139-point inspection. Just as Gold certified models feature Ford Reward Points, your Blue certified car will also have these points. It comes with 11,000 points to use on whatever your first maintenance visit calls for.
